Our founders are Afghans living in the United States who understand the struggles their fellow countrymen face every day. Through our sponsorship program we have provided hundreds of children with the opportunity to attend private schools they could never otherwise afford.
In areas where schools do not exist, we build them. In areas where families cannot eat, we deliver food. According to the World Food Programme, nearly half of the population faces food insecurity — and tens of thousands need urgent help today.
The entire Hamsaya team is unpaid volunteers, so 100% of every dollar you contribute goes directly to aid on the ground.
